Question to Photograpers

… and painters and all other artists working in 2D – and anybody who has an appreciation for the visual arts:

Which image has the better composition?

 

Both are cropped at exactly the same size from the same image to make the comparison fair.
Feel free to comment just which version you prefer, you don’t have to give a reason.

The situation: I had just found a reasonably safe spot to stop on this dangerous road, the wind was biting and it was beginning to rain – this was the first shot after getting out of the car. I did not know if I’d get a second one, especially with that sunny hillside left of center. (I did have the time for a couple more careful shots…)

Himmel

Das tolle an der Küste (und im Flachland) ist, dass es soviel Himmel gibt, zumal wenn wenig Gebäude stören oder Bäume sich in den Vordergrund drängen.
